Hotel Barge Savoir Faire
Cruise the waterways of
Holland, Belgium & France
Experience Holland's famous
Tulip time on our Spring Cruises or take
a 13 night cruise across Holland, Belgium
and France. We offer cruises and excursions
in the Paris, Champagne and Chablis regions
with a range of interesting itineraries.
The 12-passenger Savoir
Faire (formerly "Etoile de Champagne")
was built in 1932 as a Belgian transport
barge. Converted into a hotel barge in 1979
she was substantially refurbished for the
beginning of the 2005 season. Her six staterooms
offer luxurious accommodation for 12 passengers
who are attentively catered for by 6 English-speaking
crew. The salon, dining area, and
bar are finished in mahogany, teak and brass,
decorated with antiques and paintings. Two
spacious decks offer magnificent views of
the countryside.

unique with five separate areas for passenger
enjoyment -- whether for a personal retreat,
a quiet conversation, a small group get-together,
or for all passengers to enjoy together.
The salon, dining area, and bar are finished
in mahogany, teak and brass, decorated with
antiques and paintings collected over the
years
Let us know when you book if you would like
to use the Barge’s mountain bikes
and we will make sure they are there for
you to actively explore these beautiful
areas. For more leisurely pastimes there
is internet access, board games, books and
