wines with almost 60,000 acres of sunlit
vines and arguably the prettiest canal in
France. The Nivernais canal randomly meanders
along the path of the picturesque River
Yonne. This delightful exchange brings you
the finest cruising in Burgundy. Medieval
villages are surrounded by unspoiled countryside
where gastronomic delights are a culture
in themselves.
For
anyone who has physical limitations, La
Reine Pedauque is designed especially to
accommodate passengers with physical challenges.
She is fitted with a lift for wheelchairs
and a stair lift for access between decks
The doors are wide enough for wheelchair
access on all decks. Royal suites have a
shower seat, commode and handrails next
to the shower and the height of the bed
is only 70cm high for easy accessibility.
All cabins have ensuite facilities and the
minibus also has a wheelchair lift.

Reine Pedauque cruises for 6 nights from
Friday to Thursday between April and October.
Every 6 night cruise includes all meals,
open bar, regional wines, daily escorted
excursions, local return transfer between
the vessel and Chateau la Chassagne Hotel
near Dijon
La
Reine Peauque's highly professional crew
of four comprises Master Chef, Tour Guide,
and Stewardess, led by a knowledgeable and
experienced Captain. The average crew ratio
is one crew member to every two passengers.

DAY 1 |
Friday
DIJON
Guests are met at Chateau la Chassagne
near Dijon at 5pm and transferred by
air-conditioned minibus to La Reine
Pedauque. A warm welcome aboard from
the Captain and crew with a Kir-Royal
cocktail - the start to a unique and
memorable stay in Burgundy. In the early
evening we visit Dinon with the Captain
and then return to the boat in time
for our first candlelit dinner aboard. |
DAY 2 |
Saturday
DIJON TO FLEUREY SUR OUCHE
During breakfast, we leave Dijon and
head for the first of a total of 45
locks. We make our way along Lake Kir
with its leisure facilities, via Plombieres
to Velars sur Ouche. Guests are welcome
to leave the boat at any of the picturesque
locks and to continue on foot or bicycle
along the towpath to the next locks

way before reaching Fleurey sur Ouche,
where we will moor for the night. Dinner

| DAY 3 |
Sunday
FLEUREY SUR OUCHE TO GISSEY
Today brings us into the heart of
Burgundy, into the glorious Ouche Valley.
Comfortably seated on the sundeck, we
will travel back through time to an
unhurried world, past the enchanting
village of Pont de Pany and Chateau
la Chassagne and past Ste Marie sur
Ouche. We finally moor in Gissey and
set out to explore the surrounding countryside
in the company of the Captain.

| DAY 4 |
Monday
GISSEY TO BEAUNE
After breakfast, we set off on a day's
excursion to the beautiful city of Beaune.
Here we will visit the world-famous
Hospice, Hotel-Dieu and the Collegiate
Church of Notre Dame. After lunch at
a local French restaurant in Beaune,
we enjoy a wine-tasting in a typical,
local Burgundian vineyard. Dinner aboard. |
| DAY 5 |
Tuesday
BEAUNE TO PONT D'OUCHE
This morning we begin our day with a
cruise to Saint Victor and La Bussiere
and a visit to the Cistercian abbey.
After lunch we contine our cruise past
Veuvey on our way to today's mooring
in Pont d'Ouche. Late afternoon we visit
the medieval hillside village of Chateauneuf
en Auxois. Dinner aboard. |
| DAY 6 |
Wednesday
PONT D'OUCHE TO VANDENESSE
Very hard work for the Captain today
mastering the numerous locks between
Pont d'Ouche and Vandenesse. For passengers
it is the last chance to sit back and
soak up the beauty of the surroundings.
In the evening you are guests at the
Captain's table for the Farewell Gala
Dinner at which you will be presented
with your lock diplomas. |
| DAY 7 |
Saturday
VANDENESSE TO DIJON
After a generous breakfast, passengers
leave the boat and are driven back to
Chateau la Chassagne, to the train station
or Dijnon airport by about 11am. |
